`Info about this location //
The forest is, though not the most dangerous part of the city, quite dangerous to be in.[/blockquote][/size]
Mother nature has reclaimed her planet, and therefore the forest has grown in size to cover a vast area, ranging over mountains and cities, and connecting to other forests.
With the downfall of humans came the return of rare or threatened species, such as wolves, bears, tigers, and lions.
With the downfall of humans also came an unprecedented effect that nobody seemed to think of when they were first created. Remember the zoos? Well, not all animals that were in them died. Some animals got away. Due to this, several species became displaced—resulting in strange editions to the ecosystem.
Tigers and lions were meant for the east—not the west. Wolves do not mingle with lions, right? Well..in this new world, they might just cross paths every now and then.
The forest is full of all species of animals, including domestic pets that have gone feral and reclaimed their freedom.
The forest has many species of trees and plants—it has an extensive collection, ranging from pines and oaks to redwoods and berry bushes. Predatory birds may make their home in some of the canopies that have grown, and land-stalking predators take their prowl under them.
By night, there is hardly a light that manages to shimmer through the depths, and the darkness can be rather eerie when there are pairs of reflective eyes watching your every move.
It is only dimly lit every now and then by the light of the moon.
However, by day—though it’s still large—it’s a bit brighter. In some areas, the sun shines down almost as if to create a mystifying effect.
Deer and other such species of game are bountiful here; therefore hunters tend to come here by day to try their luck. Sometimes hunters come here for a different reason—such as chasing down shape-shifters that have gone a bit too far with their games..
However, hunters and explorers that venture in here know better than to stay around when the sun starts to set—because when that last sliver of shining light slips behind the mountains, something about the forest just isn’t quite..right.
