`Info about this location //
The fields of Silver City can sometimes look endless, if you stand on certain spots.. The area is extremely large, without a doubt about it.[/blockquote][/size]
The fields are the property of the same farmer who owns the barn—and though he’s no longer around and hasn’t come back since, they are still well protected and all animals within his territory are protected under his ownership.
Hunting for game here is not allowed—and the hunting association of the city respects that very well.
When the farmer left his farm to move to the city, he went over each of his crop fields, uniting them and planting all his territory with wild wheat and long, nutritious grass that he knew by experience would grow back, year after year, through the rain and the snow.
When he left, he set each of his animals free, including the horses, cattle, and sheep.
Though most cattle and sheep strayed further than his territory and have disappeared slowly since, the horses still stay here—and have thrived.
Some horses, not even belonging to the farmer, have found their way to this side of the city and claimed a home among the rolling hills.
Their water necessity is fed by a nearby river, and their shelter and shade is provided sometimes by the old barn, but mostly by the several trees that have sprouted up along the hillsides.
Some people come here to seek true relaxation—a place they can stay all afternoon and just enjoy as the sun sets behind the fields of long grass, soon hiding behind the distant mountains and forests.
Not to mention the sight is usually adorned by the blissful reminder that nature has taken back its territory—the ever present, distant songs of wolves, and the sights of the wild horse herd running along the endless acres.
